Herbalist is a low cost, full-featured comprehensive herbal database featuring over 300 herbs. Well-researched information is included with each herb which includes a photo, scientific and common names, brief description of use, botany, medicinal uses, as well as history and folklore. A glossary is also available which gives references and explanations of terms used in indications, actions, chemistry and botany. The software has a sophisticated search feature which allows you to identify herbs that are useful for particular indications, and you can add your own information. Herbalist has an easy-to-use Windows interface and is an excellent tool for the Home Herbal Enthusiast, Herbal Gardener or Phytotherapy Student.
