CARLA VON LOSSBERG
MAKING THE CHOICE FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Morning Session - 9.30am-11.00am
“the body has an intrinsic ability to self-heal when the underlying cause of the illness is determined, and given the correct nutritional requirements”. |
| |
Carla is a consultant in Nutritional and Environmental medicine, and a Senior Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care. For 18 years Carla practiced in public hospitals as both a Critical Care Educator and Staff Development Officer. Carla is a current associate member of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and a past-examiner for the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses. A personal encounter with illness led Carla on a profound exploration of different healing processes and particularly the prevention of illness which has since led her to reappraise both her medical focus and her approach to how health care is delivered.

PETA JONES
REALLY BEING
Morning Session - 11.30am-1.00pm
“Life has such a beautiful way of helping and supporting you if you are open to receive the messages”. |
| |
Five years ago, Peta picked up her handbag and walked away from her life as she knew it. With two young children - no home, car, or furniture, she began a new journey. In the following months Peta’s health deteriorated, her weight plummeted down to 38 kilos, and with no income, or ability to support her self, Peta’s life became very dark. It was in this darkness that Peta made a decision, the first of many that transformed her life... Now 37, Peta, a Journey Practitioner, speaks openly about what she has learnt, the process she took to regain her health, her passion for life, and how she created the life she’d always imagined.

LILLIAN and ANDREW REEKIE
HIDDEN DANGERS
Afternoon Session - 2.00pm-5.00pm
ADD, ADHD, CD or ODD - what do these labels mean for you and your child? |
| |
All young children can be naughty, defiant and impulsive from time-to-time, however some children have extremely difficult and challenging behaviours that are outside the norm for their age. When Lillian and Andrew Reekie were told that their second son was suffering from ODD at the age of four, Lillian - a trained primary school teacher felt, something was not quite right. Her child Caleb was certainly ‘busier’ than the other children, but she questioned introducing medication into his life at such a young age. Thus began a 10 year journey to find out what alternatives were available. Share their findings in this delightfully delivered presentation, and make your choice... |
